are discovering that an activist group has made their debt
disappear. According to the group, it's
not so much about creating a significant reduction in debt as it is
bringing awareness to the problem. If you or someone you know is
having trouble paying back student loans, start here.
Unregulated Auto Loans on CFPB's Radar Now
think predatory lending was limited to subprime mortgages? Think
again. These questionable practices are now rampant in the auto loan
industry. And - surprise! - some of the same big banks and financial
institutions are involved. So it’s good news that the Consumer
Financial Protection Bureau is on the job.

were told in grade school, the First Amendment protects free speech,
right? Not if you want to post a critical review on a consumer
